Our Parties often help transport puppies much like these two...Sassy and GiGi. How can you resist? Have a party and help more animals!

Testimonials and Nice Things

We are so fortunate to have good friends who generously support us year-round. Cindy Williams, Co-Owner, Partner & Big Sister of Green Jeans Consignment hosts two events each year and donates ALL the leftover jewelry to Pawbrokers. Please check her out and support all she does to help us continue our mission!

We can't thank you all enough, Pawbrokers women, for coming to Cherokee County and hosting the party for our shelter animals! Because of you we will be able to help animals that would otherwise have been left behind. We're going to earmark the proceeds from this party to pay for heartworm treatments for dogs who have a place to go but the rescue/adopter can't afford the cost of treatments.

Our vet works with us at her cost for supplies and medication, and because of that, heartworm treatments (which often are $500-1000) are between $155 and $300. We will be able to save a lot of lives due to your selfless efforts and outstanding organization and presentation ...Your plan to train others to do what you do is admirable, but I don't think there are as many women as you think out there with the business sense and charisma to launch such a major undertaking. Don't underestimate your burning desire to make a real difference for the animals that has been the defining factor in the genius of Pawbrokers. I'm not sure you can easily replicate yourself, Roxanne.

...Hooray for Pawbrokers and all of you who give your time and considerable energy toward the only thing separating a lot of animals from life and death--the funds to save them!" [read the entire letter]

Judy Wyles, Cherokee Shelter Rescue Coordinator

Humane Society of Cherokee County, Inc.

There are so many wonderful rescues out there that would do anything for a helping hand. What we do is so emotionally draining sometimes~just focusing on our true mission of saving animals lives, stopping animal cruelty, educating the public to spay/neuter, and making shelter adoptions a priority. Pawbrokers parties make supporting our mission a truly positive and fun effort!"

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your group and your generosity. I greatly enjoyed meeting all of you and getting to know you and more about your fabulous mission. I was completely touched by how much you care and understand about what the rescues go through and your dedication to helping us. We definitely look forward to working with you in the future. Thank you again for all that you do. "

Danielle Rhyan, North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue

This remarkable organization, with such a clear and unique mission, will continue to change the lives of abused and abandoned animals and those that care for them. Such a simple idea (though lots of hard work and organizing!) that has supported so many good people and organizations. This is how giving back is done, even in a difficult economy ~ someone standing up and saying, 'I have an idea to help others and I'm going to do something.' Bravo Roxanne and Pawbrokers! Besides, the parties are quite simply a blast!!"
